To start the mower, ensure the parking brake is engaged, the PTO switch is in the "off" position, and the motion control levers are in the neutral position. Turn the ignition key to the "start" position and release it once the engine starts.
Check if the PTO switch is in the "on" position. Ensure that the battery is fully charged and all electrical connections are secure. If the problem persists, inspect the PTO clutch and related components for damage.
It is recommended to change the engine oil after the first 5 hours of use and then every 50 hours of operation or at least once a season. Use SAE 30 or 10W-30 oil for best performance.
The recommended tire pressure for the front tires is 13 psi (90 kPa) and for the rear tires is 13 psi (90 kPa). Always check tire pressure when the tires are cold.
To adjust the cutting height, move the deck lift lever to the desired position. The cutting height can be set between 1.5 inches and 4.5 inches. Ensure the mower is on a flat surface for accurate adjustment.
Regularly inspect and clean the mower deck to remove grass clippings and debris. Check and sharpen the blades as needed. Inspect the belts and pulleys for wear and replace them if necessary.
Check the fuel level and ensure fresh fuel is used. Inspect the spark plug for fouling or damage and replace if necessary. Verify that the battery is charged and all connections are secure.
Remove the air filter cover and take out the filter. Clean it by tapping gently to remove debris. If it's excessively dirty or damaged, replace it with a new one. Reinstall the filter and cover securely.
Check for debris stuck in the mower deck or blades. Inspect the blades for damage and balance them if necessary. Ensure all bolts and fasteners are tight and not loose.
Clean the mower thoroughly and remove all debris. Change the oil and add a fuel stabilizer to the gas tank. Disconnect the battery and store it in a cool, dry place. Cover the mower to protect it from dust and moisture.
