To adjust the cutting height, locate the height-of-cut lever on the right side of the mower. Move the lever to your desired position, ensuring it clicks into place for a secure setting.
First, ensure the PTO switch is in the 'ON' position. Check for blown fuses or loose connections in the wiring. If the problem persists, inspect the belt drive system for any damage or disconnection.
It is recommended to change the oil after the first 5 hours of use and then every 50 hours of operation or annually, whichever comes first.
Use unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Avoid using ethanol blends higher than 10% as they can damage the engine.
Regularly clean the underside of the mower deck to prevent grass build-up. Sharpen the blades every 25 hours of use and inspect for any signs of wear or damage.
Check the battery connections for any looseness or corrosion. Ensure there is sufficient fuel in the tank and the fuel valve is open. Verify that the parking brake is engaged and the PTO is off.
Ensure the engine is properly tuned and the air filter is clean. Avoid excessive idling and maintain a consistent cutting speed. Keep the tires properly inflated.
Drain the fuel or add a fuel stabilizer to prevent deterioration. Clean the mower thoroughly, check for any needed repairs, and store in a dry, covered location. Remove the battery and store it in a cool, dry place.
Ensure the mower is off and the spark plug is disconnected. Use a wrench to remove the blade bolt, then replace the blade with a new one, ensuring the cutting edge is facing the correct direction. Tighten the bolt securely.
Regularly check and change the oil, clean or replace the air filter, inspect and tighten all fasteners, and lubricate moving parts as recommended in the owner’s manual.
