Ensure the mower is on a flat surface, engage the parking brake, set the throttle to 'fast', and turn the ignition key to start the engine.
Check the fuel level, ensure the battery is charged, and inspect the spark plug for wear or damage. If problems persist, consult the user manual or contact Toro support.
After each mowing session, clean the deck to prevent grass buildup, check for blade sharpness, and inspect for any debris or damage. Regularly lubricate deck components as recommended in the manual.
Toro recommends using SAE 30 or 10W-30 motor oil for optimal performance and engine protection.
Change the engine oil after the first 5 hours of use and then after every 50 hours of operation or once per mowing season.
Use the height adjustment lever located near the operator's seat to set the desired cutting height, ranging from 1.5 to 4.5 inches.
Check the blade control switch to ensure it is engaged. Inspect the belt and pulleys for wear or damage. Make sure the PTO (Power Take-Off) switch is properly activated.
Regularly maintain the engine, ensure the air filter is clean, use the recommended oil type, and avoid mowing on steep inclines to improve fuel efficiency.
Always wear protective gear, clear the mowing area of debris before starting, never operate on steep slopes, and keep children and pets at a safe distance.
Drain the fuel tank or add a fuel stabilizer, clean the mower thoroughly, change the oil, remove the battery, and store the mower in a dry, sheltered location.
