To start the Toro String 58620 Mower, ensure the battery is fully charged. Insert the key, press the safety button, and pull the start lever to engage the motor.
If the mower doesn't start, check the battery charge, ensure the key is properly inserted, and verify that the safety button is being pressed while pulling the start lever.
To adjust the cutting height, locate the height adjustment lever on each wheel and set all four levers to the desired position for even cutting.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the deck, checking and tightening bolts, sharpening or replacing the blade, and charging the battery after use.
To replace the blade, disconnect the battery, tip the mower safely, use a wrench to remove the blade bolt, replace with a new blade, and tighten securely.
If the mower leaves uncut patches, check the blade for sharpness, ensure the cutting height is set correctly, and mow at a slower pace for better results.
To maximize battery life, fully charge the battery before use, avoid overcharging, store it in a cool, dry place, and clean the battery terminals regularly.
It is not recommended to use the mower on wet grass as it can lead to clogging, reduced cutting efficiency, and potential safety hazards.
After use, disconnect the battery, use a brush or cloth to remove grass clippings from the deck, and avoid using water directly on electrical components.
Excessive vibration may be caused by an unbalanced or damaged blade. Check the blade for damage, ensure it is securely attached, and replace if necessary.
