To start the mower, ensure it is on a flat surface and the fuel tank is filled. Press the primer bulb three times, pull back the safety bar, and then pull the starter handle firmly.
Check for sufficient fuel, ensure the spark plug is connected, and inspect the air filter for blockages. If the problem persists, consult the user manual or a professional technician.
To use SmartStow, ensure the fuel tank and oil reservoir are sealed. Then, fold the handle by unlocking the levers and tilt the mower upright for compact storage.
Perform regular maintenance every 25 hours of use, including checking the oil, cleaning the air filter, and sharpening the blade. Refer to the manual for detailed instructions.
To change the oil, run the mower for a few minutes to warm up the engine. Then, disconnect the spark plug, tilt the mower to drain the oil, and refill with fresh oil.
The blade may be dull or clogged. Clean the underside of the deck and sharpen or replace the blade as needed. Ensure the mower is set to the correct cutting height.
To adjust the cutting height, move the height adjustment lever located on each wheel to the desired position. Ensure all wheels are set to the same height for an even cut.
Check for debris under the deck, ensure the blade is not bent, and verify that all fasteners are secure. If the issue persists, consult a professional for further inspection.
Remove the air filter cover, take out the filter, and gently clean it with soap and water. Allow it to dry completely before reinstalling. Replace the filter if it is damaged.
It is not recommended to mow wet grass as it can lead to clumping and potential damage to the mower. Wait until the grass is dry for optimal performance.
