To start the mower, first ensure the battery is fully charged and properly inserted. Then, press and hold the start button and pull back the bail handle to engage the motor.
If the mower doesn't start, check that the battery is charged and seated correctly. Also, ensure that the safety key is inserted properly and inspect the start button for any damage.
Regularly inspect the blade for damage or dullness. Sharpen the blade at least once per mowing season and replace it if it shows signs of significant wear or damage.
To improve runtime, ensure the battery is fully charged before use, mow in optimal conditions with dry grass, and regularly clean the mower deck to reduce drag.
After each use, remove the battery and use a garden hose to wash away grass clippings and debris from the deck. Avoid using high-pressure water to prevent damaging components.
For off-season storage, clean the mower thoroughly and remove the battery. Store the mower in a dry, sheltered area and keep the battery in a cool, dry place.
Check the drive cable for tension and adjust if necessary. Inspect the wheels and drive system for obstructions or damage, and ensure the battery is charged.
Charge the battery after each use for optimal performance. If the mower is not used frequently, charge the battery every few months to maintain its longevity.
It is not recommended to mow wet grass as it can lead to clumping, uneven cuts, and potential damage to the mower. Wait until the grass is dry for best results.
To adjust the cutting height, use the height adjustment lever located near each wheel. Set all wheels to the same height for an even cut.
