Toro Recycler 53-cm 22275T Operator's Manual

To start the Toro Recycler 53-cm 22275T Mower, ensure the fuel valve is open, the throttle is set to 'choke' for a cold start, and the blade control bar is engaged. Then, pull the starter handle briskly.
If the mower doesn't start, check the fuel level, ensure the spark plug is connected, and verify that the air filter is clean. Also, make sure the blade control bar is engaged properly.
To adjust the cutting height, locate the height adjustment levers on each wheel. Move the levers to the desired position, ensuring all wheels are set to the same height for an even cut.
Use unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of at least 87. Ensure the fuel is fresh and does not contain more than 10% ethanol.
Change the oil after the first five hours of use, then every 25 hours or at the start of each mowing season. Use SAE 30 oil for optimal performance.
Ensure the cutting height is set evenly on all wheels. Check for a dull or damaged blade and sharpen or replace it if necessary. Also, inspect the mower deck for debris build-up.
To clean the mower deck, ensure the engine is off and the spark plug wire is disconnected. Use a garden hose to wash away grass clippings and debris from under the deck. Allow it to dry before reconnecting the spark plug.
For better mulching, mow when the grass is dry, keep the blade sharp, and set the cutting height appropriately. Also, mow more frequently to avoid cutting more than one-third of the grass height at once.
Before storing the mower for winter, drain the fuel tank, clean the mower thoroughly, change the oil, and remove the spark plug for inspection. Store it in a dry, sheltered location.
To replace the air filter, remove the cover by releasing the clips or screws. Take out the old filter and replace it with a new one, ensuring it fits securely. Reattach the cover.
