Toro Recycler 48-cm 20950 Operator's Manual

To start the Toro Recycler 48-cm 20950 Mower, ensure the fuel valve is open, the spark plug is connected, and the mower is on a flat surface. Pull the starter cord briskly to start the engine.
Use fresh, unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Do not use ethanol blends greater than 10% as they can damage the engine.
It is recommended to change the oil after the first 5 hours of use, and then after every 50 hours of use, or at least once per mowing season.
If the mower won't start, check the fuel level, ensure the spark plug wire is connected, and inspect the air filter for clogs. Clean or replace components as necessary.
To adjust the cutting height, locate the height adjustment levers on each wheel. Shift the levers to the desired height position uniformly on all four wheels.
Before storing the mower, clean the deck, change the oil, remove fuel or add a fuel stabilizer, and disconnect the spark plug wire. Store in a dry place.
To improve cutting performance, ensure the blade is sharp and balanced, mow with a full gas tank, and avoid mowing wet grass. Regularly clean the underside of the deck.
Excessive vibration can be due to an unbalanced blade, loose components, or debris lodged in the deck. Check and tighten all bolts, clean the deck, and inspect the blade for damage.
To replace the blade, disconnect the spark plug wire, tip the mower onto its side, secure the blade with a block of wood, remove the bolt, and replace the blade. Re-tighten the bolt securely.
Ensure the blade is sharp and properly installed. Check for obstructions under the deck, mow at a consistent speed, and overlap each pass slightly to ensure full coverage.
