Sharpen the blade at least once a year or after 25 hours of use. Replace the blade if it is damaged or excessively worn.
Disconnect the spark plug, tilt the mower on its side, and use a hose to wash away clippings. Avoid using high-pressure water.
Drain the fuel, clean the mower, and store it in a dry place. Consider fogging the engine with oil to prevent corrosion.
The mower has a single lever height adjustment. Simply move the lever to the desired height position for all wheels.
Ensure the blade is sharp and properly installed. Check the grass height and mowing speed; adjust as needed.
Mow when the grass is dry, and avoid cutting more than one-third of the grass blade at a time. Regularly clean the underside of the mower deck.
