Ensure the mower is on a level surface. Check that the fuel tank is filled and the oil level is adequate. Pull the starter handle firmly to start the engine.
Check the fuel level, ensure the spark plug is connected, and inspect the air filter for blockages. If the problem persists, consult the user manual or contact a service center.
Change the oil after the first 5 hours of use, then every 25 hours or at the beginning of each mowing season.
Disconnect the spark plug, remove the blade, and use a file or grinding wheel to sharpen it. Ensure it is balanced before reinstalling.
After each use, hose off the deck to remove grass clippings. For a deeper clean, use a scraper to remove any stuck debris.
Locate the height adjustment lever on each wheel and move it to the desired height setting. Ensure all wheels are set to the same height.
Use unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Avoid using gasoline with more than 10% ethanol.
It is not recommended to mow wet grass as it can clog the mower deck and result in an uneven cut.
Clean the mower thoroughly, drain the fuel, and store it in a dry place. Cover it to protect from dust and moisture.
Excessive vibration may indicate a damaged or unbalanced blade. Check the blade and replace or balance it if necessary.
