To start the Toro Recycler 21-inch 21319 Mower, ensure the mower is on a flat surface. Prime the engine by pressing the primer bulb three times, pull the starter handle slowly until you feel resistance, then pull rapidly to start the engine.
Use SAE 30 oil above 32°F (0°C) for the Toro Recycler 21-inch 21319 Mower. Below 32°F (0°C), use SAE 5W-30 oil. Always check the oil level before use and add oil as needed.
It is recommended to sharpen the mower blades after every 25 hours of use or at least once per mowing season to ensure optimal performance and a clean cut.
If the mower won't start, check the fuel level, ensure the spark plug is connected, and inspect the air filter for dirt. Also, make sure the blade control lever is engaged.
Use a garden hose to wash the underside of the mower deck. Make sure the engine is cool and the spark plug is disconnected before cleaning. Dry the mower thoroughly to prevent rust.
To adjust the cutting height, locate the height adjustment levers on each wheel. Move the levers to the desired position, ensuring all four wheels are set evenly.
Excessive vibration may be caused by a damaged blade or loose parts. Check and tighten any loose bolts and inspect the blade for damage, replacing it if necessary.
For battery maintenance, charge the battery fully before the first use and recharge it after every use. Store the battery in a cool, dry place during the off-season.
To store the mower, clean it thoroughly, remove the battery, and drain the fuel system. Store in a dry, sheltered area, and cover it to protect from dust and moisture.
To replace the air filter, remove the cover on the air filter housing, take out the old filter, and insert a new one. Ensure the filter is seated properly before replacing the cover.
