Toro Recycler 21-inch 20511 Operator's Manual

To start the Toro Recycler 21-inch 20511 mower, ensure the fuel valve is open, the spark plug is connected, and the throttle is in the 'start' position. Pull the recoil starter handle firmly.
Perform the following maintenance: check the oil before each use, clean the air filter every 25 hours of use, sharpen the blade every 25 hours, and change the oil every 50 hours or annually.
If the mower won't start, check the fuel level, ensure the spark plug is clean and connected, verify that the air filter is not clogged, and inspect the fuel line for any blockages.
Use SAE 30 oil for temperatures above 32°F (0°C) and 10W-30 for temperatures below 32°F (0°C).
To replace the blade, disconnect the spark plug wire, turn the mower on its side, unscrew the bolt securing the blade, remove the old blade, and attach the new blade with the bolt, ensuring it is tightened securely.
Ensure the blade is sharp, mow when the grass is dry, adjust the cutting height appropriately, and maintain a steady pace while mowing.
Excessive vibration can be caused by an unbalanced blade. Check if the blade is bent or damaged, and replace it if necessary. Ensure the blade is securely fastened.
To clean the deck, disconnect the spark plug wire, tip the mower onto its side, and use a garden hose to wash away grass clippings and debris. Avoid spraying water directly on the engine.
Check the tire pressure to ensure even height, sharpen the blade, and inspect for any debris buildup on the deck that might disrupt the mowing pattern.
To adjust the cutting height, use the height adjustment levers located on each wheel. Move each lever to the desired position to achieve the preferred grass height.
