Toro Recycler 21-inch 20322 Operator's Manual

To start the Toro Recycler 21-inch 20322 mower, first ensure the fuel valve is open and the mower is on a flat surface. Press the primer bulb three times, then pull the starter handle firmly while holding the safety bar down to the handle.
Use SAE 30 motor oil for temperatures above 32°F (0°C) and SAE 5W-30 for colder conditions. Ensure the oil is clean and replace it according to the maintenance schedule in the owner's manual.
Adjust the cutting height by moving the height adjustment levers located on each wheel. Ensure all wheels are set to the same height for an even cut.
Check if the fuel tank has fresh gasoline and if the spark plug is clean and properly connected. Also, ensure the air filter is clean and the safety bar is fully engaged.
Sharpen the mower blade at least once per mowing season or more frequently if it becomes dull or damaged. Always disconnect the spark plug before performing maintenance.
After use, clean the mower deck with a garden hose to remove grass clippings and debris. Avoid spraying water directly on the engine. Dry thoroughly to prevent rust.
Clean the mower, change the oil, and remove the spark plug. Add a fuel stabilizer to the gasoline or drain the fuel tank. Store in a dry, sheltered area.
Excessive vibration may be due to an imbalanced blade, loose hardware, or engine issues. Check the blade for damage and ensure all bolts are properly tightened.
To replace the air filter, remove the air filter cover, take out the old filter, and insert a new one. Ensure the new filter is properly seated and replace the cover securely.
Regular maintenance includes checking and changing the oil, cleaning or replacing the air filter, inspecting the spark plug, sharpening the blade, and checking for loose parts.
