To start the Toro Recycler 20319, ensure that the mower is on a level surface. Prime the engine by pressing the primer bulb three times. Pull the starter handle lightly until resistance is felt, then pull briskly to start the engine.
If the mower won't start, check the fuel level and ensure fresh fuel is in the tank. Verify that the spark plug is connected and not fouled. Ensure the air filter is clean. If the problem persists, consult the user manual or contact Toro customer service.
The mower blade should be sharpened at least once a season or after approximately 25 hours of use. Regular sharpening ensures a clean cut and promotes lawn health.
The Toro Recycler 20319 requires SAE 30 oil for temperatures above 32°F (0°C) and SAE 5W-30 for temperatures below 32°F. Regularly check the oil level and change it after every 25 hours of operation or annually, whichever comes first.
To improve cutting performance, ensure the blade is sharp, the deck is clean and free of grass buildup, and the mower is set to the correct cutting height. Regularly check tire pressure and maintain engine performance with timely maintenance.
At the end of the season, clean the mower thoroughly, remove fuel or add a stabilizer, change the oil, sharpen the blade, and store the mower in a dry place. Also, check and clean the spark plug, and ensure all parts are in good condition.
To adjust the cutting height, locate the height adjustment levers on each wheel. Move the levers to the desired height, ensuring all four wheels are set to the same level for an even cut.
Excessive vibration may be due to an unbalanced blade, loose parts, or debris buildup. Check that the blade is secure and not damaged. Clean the mower deck and tighten any loose bolts or screws.
To clean the mower deck, disconnect the spark plug for safety, then tilt the mower on its side. Use a hose to rinse off grass clippings and debris. For stubborn buildup, use a scraper or brush. Ensure the deck is dry before storing.
Use fresh, unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Avoid using gasoline with more than 10% ethanol content, as it can damage the engine.
