To start the Toro Rear Bagger 21-inch 10510 Mower, ensure the fuel valve is open, the throttle is set to 'fast', and the safety key is inserted. Pull the starter rope sharply while holding the handlebar.
If the mower doesn't start, check the fuel level, ensure the spark plug is connected properly, and inspect the air filter for clogs. Clean or replace parts as necessary.
Maintenance should be performed at the start of each mowing season and after every 25 hours of use. This includes checking the oil, air filter, and cleaning the deck.
To replace the blade, disconnect the spark plug, turn the mower on its side with the air filter and carburetor facing up, use a wrench to remove the blade bolt, and replace with a new blade. Ensure the blade is installed correctly and tightened securely.
Excessive vibration could be due to a bent blade or loose parts. Inspect the blade for damage and ensure all bolts and connections are tightened. Replace the blade if necessary.
To store the mower for winter, clean the mower thoroughly, remove fuel or add a stabilizer, change the oil, and store in a dry place. Disconnect the spark plug to prevent accidental starts.
Use unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Avoid using gasoline with more than 10% ethanol content to prevent engine damage.
Uncut grass patches may be due to a dull blade, uneven deck, or fast mowing speed. Sharpen the blade, level the deck, and mow at a slower pace to improve cutting performance.
To clean the mower deck, ensure the mower is off and cool, then tilt it safely. Use a hose to remove grass clippings and debris. Scrape off any stuck debris with a plastic scraper.
If the mower is not bagging properly, check if the bag is attached correctly, ensure the chute is clear of obstructions, and verify that the blade is sharp and in good condition.
