To start the mower, ensure the parking brake is engaged, the blade control is disengaged, and the throttle control is in the 'Fast' position. Turn the key to the 'Start' position and release it once the engine starts.
Check the fuel level and ensure the fuel valve is open. Verify that the battery is charged and the spark plug is in good condition. Ensure all safety interlocks are engaged.
Change the engine oil every 100 hours of operation or annually, whichever comes first. Always use the oil type recommended in the operator's manual.
To adjust the cutting height, use the height-of-cut lever located near the wheels. Move the lever to the desired position to raise or lower the cutting height. Ensure all levers are set to the same position for an even cut.
Check the blades for damage or wear after every 25 hours of use. Sharpen the blades as needed and replace them if they are damaged or excessively worn. Always follow the safety instructions when handling blades.
Uneven cutting may result from dull blades, incorrect cutting height settings, or an improperly inflated tire. Ensure blades are sharp, heights are even, and tires are inflated to the recommended pressure.
Excessive vibration can be caused by unbalanced blades, debris caught in the deck, or loose components. Inspect and clean the deck, ensure blades are balanced, and tighten any loose parts.
After use, remove grass clippings from the deck and undercarriage using a brush or low-pressure air. Avoid using high-pressure water, which can damage components. Clean the air filter regularly.
For storage, clean the mower thoroughly, change the oil, and charge the battery. Add a fuel stabilizer to the tank and store the mower in a dry, covered area. Disconnect the battery if storing for extended periods.
To improve fuel efficiency, perform regular maintenance such as air filter cleaning, spark plug checks, and oil changes. Operate the mower at full throttle and avoid cutting wet or overly long grass.
