Toro ProLine Recycler II 21-inch 22043 Operator's Manual

The recommended oil type for the Toro ProLine Recycler II 21-inch 22043 Mower is SAE 30 for temperatures above 32°F (0°C) and 10W-30 for temperatures below 32°F (0°C).
The mower blade should be sharpened at least once a season or after every 25 hours of use to ensure optimal cutting performance.
Regular maintenance includes changing the oil every 25 hours of use, cleaning the air filter every 25 hours, and sharpening or replacing the blade as needed.
Ensure the fuel valve is open, the spark plug is connected, and there's fresh fuel in the tank. If these are fine, check the air filter for clogs and examine the spark plug for wear or damage.
To adjust the cutting height, locate the height adjustment levers on each wheel and move them to the desired position. Ensure all wheels are set to the same height for an even cut.
Check if the blade is dull or damaged and sharpen or replace it if necessary. Also, ensure the mower deck is clean and free of debris that may hinder grass cutting.
Turn off the mower and disconnect the spark plug. Use a garden hose to rinse off grass clippings and debris, then dry with a cloth. For stubborn debris, use a plastic scraper.
Excessive vibration may be due to an unbalanced blade. Check the blade for damage and balance it. Securely tighten any loose parts and ensure the blade is correctly installed.
Ensure the blade is sharp and the deck is clean. Mow when the grass is dry and avoid cutting more than one-third of the grass height at a time for better mulching.
Always wear protective eyewear and hearing protection. Keep bystanders away during operation, and ensure the area is clear of debris and rocks to prevent injuries.
