To start the mower, ensure that it is on a flat surface. Pull the blade control bar to the handle and hold it in place. Then, pull the starter rope handle briskly.
First, check the fuel level and add fresh gasoline if needed. Ensure that the spark plug is connected properly and clean. If the problem persists, consult the user manual or contact customer support.
It is recommended to change the oil after the first 5 hours of use, and then every 25 hours of operation thereafter.
Use SAE 30 motor oil for temperatures above 32°F and SAE 10W-30 for temperatures below 32°F. Always refer to the user manual for the correct specifications.
To clean the deck, ensure the mower is off and the spark plug wire is disconnected. Use a garden hose to spray under the deck, removing any grass clippings and debris.
At the end of the season, clean the mower thoroughly, change the oil, inspect and replace the spark plug if necessary, and store it in a dry place. Drain the fuel tank or add a fuel stabilizer to prevent gumming.
Uncut strips can be due to a dull blade. Sharpen or replace the blade to ensure a clean cut. Also, check for any obstructions in the mower deck.
The cutting height can be adjusted using the height adjustment levers located on each wheel. Set all wheels to the same height position for an even cut.
Excessive vibration may be caused by an unbalanced or damaged blade. Check the blade for damage and balance, and replace if necessary. Tighten any loose parts.
To replace the air filter, remove the cover from the air filter housing. Take out the old filter and insert a new one. Ensure the filter is seated properly before replacing the cover.
