Toro ProLine Recycler 21-inch 22175 Operator's Manual

To start the mower, ensure the fuel valve is open, the throttle is set to 'choke', and the safety bar is engaged before pulling the starter handle.
Check the fuel level, ensure the spark plug is connected, and verify the air filter is clean. If issues persist, inspect the carburetor and fuel line for blockage.
Sharpen the blade after every 20-25 hours of use, or more frequently if mowing thick or tough grass.
Adjust the cutting height using the lever located near each wheel. Ensure all wheels are set to the same height for an even cut.
Use SAE 30 oil above 32°F and SAE 5W-30 for temperatures below 32°F. Always check the owner's manual for specific recommendations.
After each use, disconnect the spark plug, tip the mower on its side, and use a brush or hose to remove grass clippings and debris from the deck.
Perform regular maintenance such as checking oil levels before each use, cleaning the air filter every 25 hours, and sharpening the blade as needed.
Ensure the blade is sharp, mow when grass is dry, and avoid cutting more than one-third of the grass height in a single pass.
Check for debris stuck in the blade or unbalanced blade. Tighten any loose bolts and ensure the blade is properly aligned.
Drain the fuel tank, remove the battery (if applicable), clean the mower, and store it in a dry, sheltered area. Cover the mower to protect it from dust and moisture.
