The Toro ProLine Hydro 44-inch 30435 Mower features a powerful engine, hydrostatic transmission for smooth operation, a 44-inch cutting deck for efficient mowing, and durability suitable for commercial use.
Routine maintenance includes checking the oil level, cleaning the air filter, inspecting the blades for damage, lubricating moving parts, and checking tire pressure regularly.
Ensure the fuel tank has fresh gasoline, the battery is charged, the spark plug is clean, and the air filter is not clogged. Also, check the safety switches and wiring connections.
To adjust the cutting height, locate the cutting height adjustment levers near the wheels. Move each lever to the desired height position, ensuring all four wheels are set equally.
It's recommended to change the oil every 50 hours of operation or at least once per mowing season, whichever comes first.
Check if the mower deck is level, blades are sharp and not bent, and tire pressure is consistent. Inspect for any debris buildup under the deck that may disrupt cutting.
Always wear appropriate protective gear, ensure the mowing area is clear of debris, and avoid operating on steep slopes. Be familiar with all controls before starting the mower.
Ensure the mower is off and safely lifted. Use a wrench to remove the blade bolts, replace the old blades with new ones, and securely fasten the bolts.
Check the transmission fluid levels and top up if necessary. Inspect for leaks, and ensure the drive belt is in good condition and properly tensioned.
Clean the mower thoroughly, change the oil, remove the battery and store it in a cool dry place, add fuel stabilizer to the gas tank, and cover the mower to protect it from dust and moisture.
