Ensure the fuel valve is open, the PTO lever is disengaged, and the throttle is set to full. Pull the recoil starter handle firmly to start the engine.
Check the fuel level, ensure the spark plug is connected, and verify the air filter is clean. If the mower still does not start, consult the user manual or a professional technician.
Change the oil after the first 5 hours of use and then every 50 hours or annually, whichever comes first. Use SAE 30 oil for optimal performance.
Disconnect the spark plug wire to prevent accidental starting. Remove the blade and use a file or bench grinder to sharpen. Ensure the blade is balanced before reinstalling.
Regularly clean the deck to prevent grass buildup, ensure blades are sharp, and maintain proper tire pressure for even cutting.
Check for debris in the deck, ensure blades are not bent or damaged, and verify that all bolts and nuts are tightened securely.
Use the height adjustment levers located on each wheel. Adjust all wheels to the same height setting for an even cut.
Drain the fuel system or add a fuel stabilizer, change the oil, clean the mower deck, and store in a dry place. Disconnect the spark plug for safety.
Refer to the manual for belt routing diagrams. Remove the deck, release tension, and replace the worn belts with new ones, ensuring proper tension upon reinstallation.
Ensure blades are sharp and properly installed, check the deck for obstructions, and verify the cutting height is correctly set for the grass length.
