Toro ProLine Gear 32-inch 30252 Operator's Manual

To start the mower, ensure the fuel tank is filled and the oil level is adequate. Engage the parking brake, set the throttle to 'Fast', and pull the recoil starter handle.
Use SAE 30 oil for optimal performance in temperatures above 32°F (0°C). For temperatures below 32°F, use SAE 5W-30 or 10W-30.
Check the fuel level, ensure the spark plug is connected, and inspect the air filter for clogs. Replace the spark plug if necessary, and ensure the safety features are engaged.
To adjust the cutting height, locate the height adjustment levers on each wheel. Move the levers to the desired position, ensuring all wheels are set at the same height.
Sharpen the mower blades every 25 hours of use or whenever you notice a decline in cutting performance. Always ensure the mower is off and the spark plug is disconnected before performing maintenance.
Clean the mower deck, change the oil, and add a fuel stabilizer to the tank. Remove the battery and store it in a cool, dry place. Check the air filter and spark plug, replacing them if necessary.
To replace the drive belt, disconnect the spark plug for safety, remove the belt cover, and take off the old belt. Install the new belt by following the same path as the old one, then replace the cover.
Uncut patches may result from dull blades, incorrect cutting height, or clogged discharge chute. Check blade sharpness, adjust the cutting height, and clear any obstructions in the chute.
Excessive vibration may indicate an unbalanced blade, loose hardware, or debris lodged in the mower deck. Inspect and tighten all hardware, check the blade balance, and clear the deck of any debris.
After each use, allow the mower to cool, disconnect the spark plug, and use a brush or compressed air to remove grass clippings from the deck and engine area. Avoid using water to prevent rust.
