To start the mower, ensure the fuel valve is open, the throttle lever is in the "Fast" position, and the blade control lever is disengaged. Pull the starter handle gently until you feel resistance, then pull it sharply to start the engine.
It is recommended to change the oil after the first 5 hours of operation and then every 50 hours or annually, whichever comes first.
Check if the blade is dull or damaged. Ensure the tire pressure is even on both sides. Verify that the deck is level and not clogged with grass clippings. Adjust as necessary.
Ensure the engine is off and disconnect the spark plug. Use a garden hose to rinse off grass clippings and debris from the deck. For stubborn dirt, use a brush and soapy water.
Excessive vibration can be caused by an unbalanced or damaged blade, loose hardware, or debris lodged in the mower. Inspect and tighten any loose parts and replace damaged blades.
Maintain the mower by keeping the air filter clean, using fresh fuel, sharpening the blade regularly, and ensuring the tire pressure is correct.
Use clean, fresh, unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Avoid using gasoline with more than 10% ethanol content.
To adjust the cutting height, move the height adjustment levers on each wheel to the desired position. Ensure all wheels are set to the same height for an even cut.
Check that the fuel tank is full, the spark plug is connected, and the air filter is clean. Ensure that the blade control lever is disengaged and the fuel valve is open.
Clean the mower thoroughly, change the oil, and add a fuel stabilizer to the tank. Store it in a dry, sheltered area and disconnect the spark plug to prevent accidental starts.
