Ensure the parking brake is engaged, the PTO lever is in the 'Off' position, and the throttle is set to 'Fast'. Turn the ignition key to start the engine.
Change the engine oil after the first 5 hours of operation, then every 50 hours or annually, whichever comes first.
Check the battery charge, ensure the fuel valve is open, verify the safety switches are in the correct position, and check for any blown fuses.
Adjust the deck-leveling links on both sides of the tractor until the deck is level from side to side and front to back.
The recommended tire pressure is 15 psi for the rear tires and 20 psi for the front tires.
Remove the air filter cover, take out the air filter, and clean it with compressed air or replace it if it's too dirty.
Inspect the blades for sharpness, check for debris under the deck, and ensure the deck is level and the blades are properly installed.
Check the tire pressure, make sure the blades are balanced and sharp, and adjust the deck height to ensure it is level.
Clean the tractor thoroughly, change the oil, add fuel stabilizer, disconnect the battery, and store it in a dry, sheltered location.
Remove the mower deck, release the tension on the belt, remove the old belt, and install the new belt following the routing diagram.
