Ensure the fuel valve is open, the PTO switch is off, and the parking brake is engaged. Turn the key to the "Start" position, and once the engine starts, release the key.
Check the fuel level, ensure the spark plug is in good condition, verify the battery charge, and make sure the safety switches are activated.
Regular maintenance should be performed every 25 hours of operation, including checking the oil level, cleaning the air filter, and inspecting the blades.
To adjust the cutting height, move the height-of-cut lever to the desired position and ensure both sides are set equally for an even cut.
Check for any debris caught in the blades, ensure the blades are sharp, and verify that the deck is level. Adjust if necessary.
Turn off the engine, secure the mower on a trailer using straps, and ensure the parking brake is engaged during transport.
Use SAE 30 or 10W-30 oil for best performance, checking the manufacturer's specifications for temperature ranges.
Inspect the blades for damage or imbalance, check for loose bolts, and ensure the engine mounting is secure.
Use a brush to remove grass clippings from the deck, and use a low-pressure hose to rinse off dirt. Avoid using high-pressure washers.
Ensure the blades are sharp and properly aligned, and check if the ground speed is appropriate for the grass conditions.
