To start the Toro ProLine 36-inch 30184 Mower, ensure the fuel valve is open, the throttle is set to 'choke', and the blade control is disengaged. Pull the starter rope with a firm, steady motion.
Check the fuel level and ensure fresh fuel is used. Inspect the spark plug for wear and replace if necessary. Verify that the air filter is clean and not clogged.
Change the oil after the first 5 hours of use, and then every 50 hours of operation or annually, whichever comes first.
Maintain the front tires at 16 psi and the rear tires at 12 psi for optimal performance.
To adjust the cutting height, use the height adjustment levers located on each wheel. Move the levers to the desired position to raise or lower the cutting deck.
Regular maintenance includes checking and replacing the air filter, changing the oil, sharpening the blades, and inspecting the mower for any loose or damaged parts.
Ensure the mower deck is level, the blades are sharp, and the tire pressure is correct. Also, check for any obstructions or build-up under the deck.
Excessive vibration can be caused by unbalanced or damaged blades. Check the blades for damage and balance them if necessary. Tighten any loose components.
Clean the mower thoroughly, change the oil, and remove the spark plug. Store it in a dry, sheltered area. Consider using a fuel stabilizer if storing with fuel.
Use fresh, unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Ensure the fuel contains no more than 10% ethanol.
