Toro ProLine 30187 Operator's Manual

To start the Toro ProLine 30187 Mower, ensure the fuel valve is open, the throttle is set to 'fast', and the PTO switch is off. Then, turn the ignition key to the 'start' position until the engine starts.
Check the fuel level and ensure fresh fuel is used. Verify that the spark plug is clean and connected properly. Inspect the air filter for dirt or obstructions and ensure the battery is charged.
For optimal performance, sharpen the mower blades after every 25 hours of use or when you notice uneven cutting.
Use SAE 30 oil for temperatures above 32°F (0°C) and 10W-30 for temperatures below 32°F (0°C) to ensure proper lubrication.
To adjust the cutting height, move the height adjustment levers located on each wheel to your preferred setting. Ensure all wheels are set to the same height to maintain an even cut.
Excessive vibration can be caused by imbalanced blades or debris caught in the mower deck. Inspect the blades for damage and clean any debris from the deck.
Ensure the air filter is clean, maintain sharp blades, and regularly service the engine. Avoid mowing in overly tall grass and use the recommended engine speed.
Maintain the front and rear tires at the recommended pressure of 13 psi for optimal performance and even mowing.
After each use, remove grass clippings and debris from the mower deck using a hose or air blower. Be sure the engine is off and cool before cleaning.
Regular maintenance includes checking and changing the oil, inspecting and cleaning the air filter, sharpening the blades, and checking the spark plug and tire pressure.
