To start the Toro Power Clear 826OXE, ensure the fuel shut-off valve is open, the choke is set to full, and the throttle is in the fast position. Then, pull the recoil starter or use the electric starter.
Use SAE 5W-30 oil for optimal performance in cold weather conditions. Check the oil level regularly and change it according to the maintenance schedule.
Ensure the fuel tank has fresh gasoline, the spark plug is clean, and the ignition switch is turned on. Also, check the fuel shut-off valve and choke position.
Drain the fuel tank, change the oil, clean the exterior, and inspect the belts and cables. Store the machine in a dry, protected space.
Loosen the skid shoe bolts and adjust them to the desired height. Tighten the bolts securely to maintain the setting.
Check for clogs in the chute and auger. Ensure the throttle is in the fast position and that the impeller is functioning properly.
Disconnect the spark plug wire, remove the old spark plug using a socket wrench, and install a new, properly gapped spark plug. Reconnect the spark plug wire.
Excessive vibration may be caused by a damaged auger or impeller. Inspect these parts for damage and replace them if necessary.
Turn off the engine and use a clearing tool to remove the blockage. Never use hands to clear a clog.
Inspect the drive belt for wear or damage and ensure it is properly tensioned. Adjust or replace the belt as needed.
