Ensure the snow thrower is on a flat surface. Set the choke to the "full" position, press the primer bulb twice, and then pull the starter handle. Alternatively, use the electric start button if available.
Use clean, fresh, unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of at least 87. Avoid using ethanol blends higher than 10%.
Change the oil after the first two hours of use and then annually or after every 25 hours of operation.
Check the fuel level, ensure the choke is set correctly, and verify the spark plug connection. If the problem persists, inspect the air filter and primer bulb for damage.
Regularly inspect for wear or damage, and remove any debris or ice buildup. Lubricate the auger shaft annually with a suitable lubricant.
Drain the fuel system completely or add fuel stabilizer to the tank. Clean the machine thoroughly and store it in a dry, well-ventilated area.
Consult the user manual for the specific belt tension requirements. Loosen the belt tensioner and adjust it to the specified tension, then tighten the tensioner securely.
Check for loose parts or fasteners and tighten them as necessary. Inspect the auger and impeller for any debris or damage.
Remove the bolts securing the scraper bar, take off the old bar, and install the new one. Ensure it is aligned properly and tighten the bolts securely.
It is not recommended to use this single-stage snow thrower on gravel surfaces, as it may pick up and throw loose stones.
