Ensure the fuel valve is open and the choke is engaged. Pull the starter rope or use the electric start button. If it doesn't start, check the spark plug and fuel level.
Use unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Avoid using gasoline with more than 10% ethanol.
Change the oil after the first 2 hours of operation, then annually or after every 25 hours of use, whichever comes first.
Drain the fuel system or add a fuel stabilizer, clean the machine thoroughly, and store it in a dry, protected area.
Clear snow immediately after a snowfall and avoid letting it become wet and heavy. Use a non-stick spray on the chute if necessary.
Check for any obstructions in the chute, ensure the auger is not worn out, and verify that the engine is running at full throttle.
Turn off the engine and disconnect the spark plug. Remove the screws holding the scraper blade and replace it with a new one, ensuring it is securely fastened.
It is not recommended to use the Toro Power Clear 721 QZE 38744 on gravel, as it may pick up and throw loose stones. Use it on paved surfaces only.
Regularly check the drive belt for wear and tension, lubricate the drive system components, and adjust the cable tension if necessary.
Check the power cord connection, ensure the outlet is functioning, and inspect the starter button and wiring for damage. Replace faulty components as needed.
