To start the mower, ensure the fuel valve is open, set the throttle to the 'Fast' position, pull the starter handle gently until you feel resistance, then pull sharply to start the engine.
Check if there is sufficient fuel in the tank and that the fuel valve is open. Ensure the spark plug is connected properly and not dirty. If the problem persists, consult the user manual for further troubleshooting steps.
Change the oil after the first 5 hours of use, and then every 50 hours of operation or at least once a season. Use SAE 30 oil for optimal performance.
After use, allow the mower to cool, then use a garden hose to spray off grass clippings from the deck. Avoid spraying water directly on the engine. Dry the mower thoroughly to prevent rust.
Ensure the blade is sharp and balanced, and mow when the grass is dry. Adjust the mowing height according to grass length and conditions. Follow a consistent mowing pattern for best results.
Drain the fuel or add a fuel stabilizer, clean the mower thoroughly, change the oil, and remove the battery (if applicable). Store in a dry place to prevent moisture damage.
Excessive vibration could be due to an unbalanced or damaged blade. Check the blade for damage and balance it if necessary. Tighten any loose bolts or components.
The cutting height can be adjusted using the levers located on each wheel. Move the levers to the desired height setting, ensuring all wheels are set equally for an even cut.
Ensure the blade is sharp and properly installed. Check that the wheels are set at equal heights and inspect the deck for any obstructions or buildup of grass clippings.
Secure the mower in place using straps or ties. Ensure the fuel cap is tight to prevent spills and lift the mower using the designated handle points to avoid injury.
