To start the mower, ensure the fuel tank is filled and the oil level is correct. Push the primer bulb three times, then pull the starter handle firmly.
Check the fuel level and ensure fresh fuel is used. Inspect the spark plug for wear or damage and replace if necessary. Ensure the air filter is clean and not clogged.
Sharpen the mower blade at the start of the mowing season and every 25 hours of use. Dull blades can tear grass, leading to an uneven cut.
After use, disconnect the spark plug and use a garden hose to rinse grass clippings from the deck. Avoid spraying water on the engine directly.
Regular maintenance includes checking and replacing the oil, inspecting the air filter, sharpening the blade, and cleaning the deck. Refer to the manual for a detailed maintenance schedule.
To adjust the cutting height, use the height adjustment lever located near each wheel. Set all four wheels to the desired height for an even cut.
Use SAE 30 or SAE 10W-30 oil for optimal performance. Always check the oil level before each use.
To replace the spark plug, disconnect the spark plug wire, remove the old spark plug using a socket wrench, and install a new spark plug. Ensure it is properly gapped and tightened.
Excessive vibration may indicate a damaged or unbalanced blade. Inspect the blade for damage and ensure it is properly balanced and securely mounted.
Regularly perform maintenance checks, use high-quality fuel, keep the mower clean, and store it in a dry place. Follow the user manual's guidelines for optimal performance.
