To perform a routine maintenance check, inspect the hydraulic fluid levels, battery charge, tire pressure, and clean the air filters. Ensure all bolts and nuts are tightened and inspect the electrical connections for corrosion or wear.
Always use the designated Toro charger. Connect the charger to the power source first, then plug it into the e-Dingo. Monitor the charge level and disconnect once fully charged to prevent overcharging.
Check the battery charge level, ensure the emergency stop is disengaged, and verify that all safety switches are in the correct position. Inspect for any blown fuses or tripped circuit breakers.
Ensure that the hydraulic fluid level is adequate. Check for any leaks in the hydraulic lines and inspect the hydraulic filter for blockages. If the issue persists, contact a Toro service technician.
The air filter should be inspected every 50 hours of operation and replaced every 200 hours or more frequently if operating in dusty conditions.
While the e-Dingo is designed to be weather-resistant, it should not be used in excessively wet or flooded conditions to prevent damage to the electrical components.
Toro recommends using Toro Premium All-Season Hydraulic Fluid for optimal performance and longevity of the hydraulic system.
Store the e-Dingo in a dry, sheltered environment. Ensure the battery is fully charged before storage and disconnect it if storing for an extended period. Clean the machine and apply rust preventive spray on exposed metal parts.
Inspect the tires for punctures or damage. Check the valve stems for leaks and ensure they are properly seated. If necessary, repair or replace the damaged tire.
Avoid deep discharges and charge the battery regularly. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when not in use. Regularly check for corrosion on the battery terminals and clean them as needed.
