To start the Toro 22156TE Mower, ensure that the fuel valve is open, the battery is charged, and the ignition key is inserted. Engage the choke, and turn the key to the start position. Release the choke once the engine starts.
Use unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Avoid using ethanol blends higher than E10 to prevent engine damage.
Change the oil after the first 5 hours of use, and then every 50 hours of operation or annually, whichever comes first.
Perform a general inspection before each use, change the oil every 50 hours, clean the air filter every 25 hours, and replace the spark plug annually.
Check the fuel level, ensure the battery is charged, inspect the spark plug for damage, and verify that the air filter is clean. Make sure the ignition switch is functioning properly.
Check the blade for sharpness and balance, adjust the tire pressure, and ensure the mower deck is level. Replace or sharpen the blade if necessary.
After each use, wash the mower deck with water to remove grass clippings and debris. Ensure the mower is turned off and the spark plug is disconnected before cleaning.
Always wear protective eyewear and hearing protection. Check the area for debris before mowing, and never operate the mower on wet grass to avoid slipping.
Clean the mower thoroughly, perform all required maintenance, and store it in a dry, covered area. Remove the battery and store it in a cool, dry place.
Check the blade for damage or imbalance, ensure the engine mount bolts are tight, and inspect the wheels for damage. Balance or replace the blade as needed.
