To start the Toro 7 HP 56125 Mower, ensure the fuel valve is open, the throttle is set to the choke position, and the safety handle is engaged. Then pull the starter rope firmly.
Use SAE 30 oil for temperatures above 32°F (0°C), and 10W-30 for temperatures below 32°F (0°C). Always check the oil level before each use.
Sharpen the mower blades at least once a year, or more frequently if you notice uneven cutting or tearing of grass.
Check the fuel level, ensure the spark plug is clean and properly connected, verify that the air filter is clean, and make sure the safety handle is engaged.
To change the air filter, remove the cover by unscrewing it, take out the old filter, and replace it with a new one. Ensure the new filter is properly seated before reattaching the cover.
Perform regular maintenance such as checking oil levels before each use, cleaning the mower deck after each use, sharpening the blades annually, and changing the oil and air filter every season.
To prevent grass buildup, mow when the grass is dry, and regularly clean the underside of the deck after mowing. Consider using a silicone spray to reduce grass sticking.
Clean the mower thoroughly, drain the fuel tank or add a fuel stabilizer, change the oil, and store the mower in a dry, sheltered location. Disconnect the spark plug to prevent accidental starting.
Adjust the cutting height by moving the height adjustment levers located on each wheel. Ensure all wheels are set to the same height for an even cut.
It is not recommended to use the mower on wet grass as it can lead to uneven cutting, clogging of the mower deck, and potential damage to the lawn.
