To start the Toro 66-cm 22203TE Mower, ensure that the fuel valve is open, the throttle is set to the 'fast' position, and the blade control bar is held against the handle. Then, pull the starter handle quickly.
Check that the fuel tank is filled with fresh gasoline and the spark plug is in good condition. Ensure the air filter is clean and the fuel valve is open. If the problem persists, consult the user manual for further troubleshooting steps.
It is recommended to change the oil after the first 5 hours of use, and then every 25 hours of operation or once each mowing season.
Use SAE 30 or SAE 10W-30 oil for normal operating temperatures. Refer to the user manual for more information on oil specifications.
To adjust the cutting height, locate the height adjustment levers near each wheel. Move the levers to the desired position. Ensure all wheels are set to the same height for an even cut.
Before storing the mower for winter, clean the mower thoroughly, drain the fuel tank, change the oil, and remove the spark plug. Store in a dry, protected area.
First, disconnect the spark plug wire. Tilt the mower to access the blade, using a block of wood to prevent rotation. Remove the blade bolt, replace with a new blade, and tighten securely.
Excessive vibration may be caused by a damaged or unbalanced blade. Check the blade for damage and replace if necessary. Ensure the blade is securely fastened.
Ensure the blade is sharp and properly balanced. Adjust the cutting height to the appropriate level for your grass type, and mow when the grass is dry.
Check the drive belt for wear or damage and ensure it is properly tensioned. Inspect the self-propel cable for any adjustments or replacements needed.
