To adjust the cutting height, locate the height adjustment levers near each wheel. Move the levers to the desired height position, ensuring all levers are set equally for an even cut.
First, check the fuel level and ensure the fuel is fresh. Verify that the spark plug is connected and in good condition. Also, inspect the air filter for clogs and clean or replace it if necessary.
It is recommended to change the oil every 50 hours of operation or at least once per mowing season. Always use the recommended oil type as outlined in the user manual.
To clean the mower deck, first ensure the mower is off and cool. Use a garden hose to spray underneath the deck, removing grass clippings and debris. For stubborn buildup, a plastic scraper can be used.
Regular maintenance is key. Keep the mower blades sharp, change the oil and air filter as recommended, and use fresh, clean fuel. Avoid mowing on wet grass to reduce engine load.
Excessive vibration may be caused by an unbalanced blade or debris stuck in the blade area. Check for damage or bending in the blades and balance them or replace if necessary.
First, disconnect the spark plug wire. Use a spark plug wrench to remove the old plug. Install the new spark plug and tighten it securely, then reattach the spark plug wire.
Regularly check the battery terminals for corrosion and clean as needed. Ensure the battery is charged, especially before long periods of non-use. Replace the battery if it no longer holds a charge.
Routinely perform maintenance tasks such as changing oil, sharpening blades, cleaning the deck, and checking tire pressure. Store the mower in a dry, sheltered area when not in use.
To winterize, drain the fuel tank or add a fuel stabilizer. Change the oil and clean the mower deck. Remove the battery and store it in a cool, dry place. Cover the mower to protect it from dust and moisture.
