To start the Toro 52-inch 30339 Mower, ensure the mower is on a flat surface. Engage the parking brake, set the throttle to 'fast', and turn the ignition key to the 'Start' position. Release the key once the engine starts.
If the mower does not start, check the battery connections and ensure they are tight. Verify that the fuel valve is open, and there is sufficient fuel. Also, check the spark plug for signs of wear or damage.
To maintain blade sharpness, regularly check the blade for nicks and dullness. Sharpen the blades using a grinder or file, ensuring they are balanced to prevent uneven cutting and vibration.
It is recommended to change the oil every 50 hours of operation or at least once per season to ensure optimal performance.
To adjust the cutting height, locate the height adjustment lever on each wheel. Move the lever to the desired height setting, ensuring all wheels are set to the same position for an even cut.
Before winter storage, clean the mower deck, change the oil, and remove the battery. Add a fuel stabilizer to the fuel tank, and store the mower in a dry, sheltered area.
Uneven cutting may be due to unbalanced blades or uneven tire pressure. Check the blades for balance and sharpness, and ensure that all tires are inflated to the manufacturer's recommended pressure.
Excessive vibration may indicate a problem with the blade balance or a loose component. Check the blade for balance and tighten any loose bolts or components.
To replace the air filter, remove the cover on the air filter housing. Take out the old filter and insert a new one, ensuring it fits snugly. Reattach the cover securely.
Use unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Avoid using gasoline with more than 10% ethanol content.
