To start the Toro 39094 Mower, ensure the fuel valve is open, set the choke if needed, pull the starter cord firmly, and adjust the throttle to the desired speed once started.
Use SAE 30 or SAE 10W-30 engine oil for the Toro 39094 Mower, depending on your local temperature conditions. Refer to the user manual for specific oil grade recommendations.
Sharpen the mower blade after every 25 hours of use or at the start of each mowing season to ensure optimal performance and a clean cut.
Check the fuel level, ensure the spark plug is connected, examine the air filter for blockages, and verify that the safety key is in position.
Adjust the cutting height by moving the lever located near the wheel hubs to the desired position. Ensure that all wheels are set to the same height for an even cut.
Regular maintenance includes checking the oil level, cleaning or replacing the air filter, inspecting the spark plug, and cleaning the underside of the mower deck to prevent grass buildup.
Drain the fuel tank, clean the mower thoroughly, disconnect the spark plug, and store it in a dry place to prevent corrosion and damage.
Check for loose or damaged blades, ensure all bolts and screws are tightened, and balance the blade if necessary. Excessive vibration may also indicate engine issues.
Replace the spark plug every mowing season or after approximately 100 hours of use to ensure reliable starting and efficient engine performance.
Turn off the mower, disconnect the spark plug, tilt the mower to its side, and use a scraper to remove grass clippings and debris. Rinse with water if needed, ensuring not to saturate the engine components.
