Regularly check and replace the air filter, change the engine oil after every 25 hours of use, inspect the blades for sharpness, and ensure the tires are properly inflated.
Ensure the fuel tank is filled, check the spark plug for cleanliness and proper connection, and verify that the battery is charged.
Check for debris lodged in the cutting deck, inspect the blades for damage or imbalance, and ensure that all bolts and screws are tightened.
Disconnect the spark plug wire, tilt the mower for access, use a wrench to remove the blade bolt, replace the blade, and securely tighten the bolt.
Ensure that the tire pressure is even, check that the blades are sharp and properly installed, and adjust the cutting deck height if necessary.
Sharpen the blades after approximately every 25 hours of use or if you notice uneven cutting.
Use SAE 30 oil for temperatures above 32°F (0°C) and SAE 5W-30 for temperatures below 32°F (0°C).
Regularly maintain the engine, ensure the air filter is clean, use the recommended oil, and keep the blades sharp.
Turn off the engine, disconnect the spark plug, and use a stick or tool to safely remove the grass buildup from the deck.
Drain the fuel tank, change the oil, clean the mower thoroughly, and store it in a dry, sheltered location.
