For optimal performance, change the oil in your Toro 30114 Mower after the first 5 hours of use, and then every 25 hours or at the start of each mowing season.
The Toro 30114 Mower is designed to run on unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Avoid using ethanol blends greater than 10%.
First, check the fuel level and quality. Ensure the spark plug is connected and clean. Verify that the air filter is not clogged. If the problem persists, consult the user manual or contact Toro support.
Sharpen the mower blade at least once a year or more frequently if you notice a decrease in cutting performance. Always balance the blade after sharpening.
Ensure the mower blade is sharp and properly balanced, mow with a steady pace, and avoid cutting wet grass. Adjust the cutting height for optimal results.
Clean the mower thoroughly, change the oil, empty the fuel tank or add a fuel stabilizer, and store it in a dry, sheltered location. Disconnect the spark plug to prevent accidental starting.
Locate the air filter cover on the side of the engine, remove it, take out the old filter, and replace it with a new one. Ensure the new filter is seated properly before replacing the cover.
Stop the engine, disconnect the spark plug, and use a stick or similar tool to remove the grass buildup. Avoid using your hands to prevent injuries.
Adjust the cutting height by moving the height adjustment lever located at each wheel. Ensure all wheels are set to the same height for an even cut.
Excessive vibration can be caused by a damaged or unbalanced blade. Check the blade for damage and balance it if necessary. Tighten any loose bolts and consult a technician if the issue persists.
