To start the Toro 30113 Mower, ensure the fuel shut-off valve is open, the choke is engaged, and the throttle is set to 'fast'. Pull the starter handle firmly.
Use SAE 30 oil for temperatures above 40°F, and 10W-30 for temperatures below 40°F.
Sharpen the mower blades every 20-25 hours of use, or whenever you notice uneven cutting patterns.
Check the fuel level, ensure the spark plug is connected, and inspect for clogged air filters. Replace any faulty parts.
Use a hose to rinse off grass clippings and debris. For stubborn residue, use a plastic scraper. Ensure the mower is off and cool before cleaning.
Maintain tire pressure at 10-12 PSI for optimal performance and even cutting.
Locate the height adjustment levers on each wheel and move them to the desired position. Ensure all wheels are set to the same height.
Empty the fuel tank, clean the mower, disconnect the spark plug, and store it in a dry place. Consider changing the oil and sharpening the blades before storage.
Disconnect the spark plug wire, use a spark plug wrench to remove the old plug, and install a new spark plug. Reattach the wire securely.
Check for debris lodged in the blade area, ensure the blade is balanced and secure, and inspect the engine mountings for wear or damage.
