To start the mower, ensure the fuel valve is open, the choke lever is engaged, and the engine switch is in the 'on' position. Pull the starter cord firmly until the engine starts.
It's recommended to check the oil level before each use, clean or replace the air filter every 25 hours of use, and have the blades sharpened annually.
Check for fuel in the tank, ensure the spark plug is connected and clean, verify the air filter is not clogged, and make sure the safety bar is fully engaged.
Use unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Avoid gasoline with more than 10% ethanol content.
To adjust the cutting height, move the height adjustment levers on each wheel to the desired position. Ensure all wheels are set to the same height.
Check for debris stuck in the blades, ensure the blades are balanced, and inspect for loose bolts or damaged parts.
First, disconnect the spark plug. Tilt the mower to its side with the air filter facing up, and use a brush or hose to clean the underside.
Empty the fuel tank or add a fuel stabilizer, change the oil, clean the mower thoroughly, and store it in a dry, sheltered area.
Replace the spark plug every season or after 100 hours of use, whichever comes first, to ensure optimal performance.
Use the manufacturer's recommended blades, which are designed for optimal performance and safety. Consult the user manual for specific blade options.
