To start the Toro 21-inch 26622C Mower, ensure it has sufficient fuel and oil. Set the throttle to the 'start' position, pull the starter handle slowly until resistance is felt, then pull briskly.
Check for fuel and oil levels, ensure the spark plug connection is secure, and examine the air filter for clogs. If issues persist, consult the user manual for troubleshooting steps.
It's recommended to change the oil after the first 5 hours of use, then at least once every 25 hours of operation or at the start of each mowing season.
Use unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Avoid using gasoline with more than 10% ethanol.
Ensure the mower is off and disconnect the spark plug. Use a garden hose to spray under the deck, removing grass clippings and debris. For stubborn build-up, a plastic scraper can be used.
Sharpen the mower blades after every 20-25 hours of use or whenever you notice uneven or torn grass tips.
To adjust the cutting height, locate the height adjustment levers on each wheel. Move the levers to the desired position, ensuring all wheels are set equally for an even cut.
Clean the mower thoroughly, change the oil, remove any remaining fuel, and inspect the blade for sharpening or replacement. Store the mower in a dry place.
Regularly clean the air filter, keep the blade sharp, ensure the correct oil level, and use fresh, suitable gasoline.
Excessive vibration may indicate a damaged blade or loose components. Inspect the blade for damage and ensure all nuts and bolts are tight. Replace any damaged parts as needed.
