To start the Toro 21-inch 26620C Mower, ensure the fuel valve is open, the throttle is set to choke, and the safety lever is engaged. Then, pull the starter rope firmly.
Use clean, fresh unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Avoid using ethanol blends over 10%.
It is recommended to sharpen the blades after every 20-25 hours of use or whenever you notice a decline in cutting performance.
Check the fuel level, ensure the spark plug is connected and clean, inspect the air filter, and make sure the safety lever is engaged.
To adjust the cutting height, locate the height adjustment levers on each wheel, and move them to the desired position. Ensure all wheels are set to the same height for an even cut.
Perform regular maintenance by changing the oil every 25 hours of use, cleaning or replacing the air filter every 25 hours, and checking the blade condition regularly.
After use, allow the engine to cool, then use a brush or air blower to remove grass and debris from the mower deck and engine. Avoid using water to prevent rust.
Check for unbalanced or damaged blades, inspect the engine mounts, and ensure all bolts are tightened securely.
Clean the mower thoroughly, drain the fuel tank or add a fuel stabilizer, and store it in a dry, cool place. Disconnect the spark plug to prevent accidental starting.
Ensure the blade is sharp and correctly installed, check that the wheels are set to the same height, and confirm the deck is not clogged with grass.
