To start the Toro 20532 mower, ensure the fuel valve is open, the spark plug wire is connected, and the throttle is set to choke. Pull the starter handle firmly until the engine starts.
Use SAE 30 oil for temperatures above 32°F (0°C) and SAE 5W-30 for temperatures below 32°F (0°C). Ensure to check the oil level regularly and change it after every 25 hours of use.
It is recommended to sharpen the mower blades after every 20-25 hours of use, or whenever you notice a decrease in cutting performance.
Check the fuel level, spark plug connection, and ensure the air filter is clean. Also, verify that the throttle is set to the correct position and the engine is not flooded.
Ensure the blades are sharp and the deck is clean. Mow in dry conditions and avoid cutting more than one-third of the grass height in a single pass for optimal mulching.
Check the air filter every 25 hours of use. Clean it by tapping it gently to remove debris or replace it if it's excessively dirty or damaged.
To adjust the cutting height, locate the adjustment lever on each wheel and move it to the desired height setting. Ensure all wheels are set to the same height for an even cut.
Clean the mower thoroughly, remove any remaining fuel, change the oil, and store it in a dry, covered area. Disconnect the spark plug wire to prevent accidental starts.
Excessive vibration may be caused by an unbalanced or damaged blade. Check the blade for damage and balance it if necessary. Tighten any loose parts and ensure the deck is clean.
First, ensure the mower is off and the spark plug wire is disconnected. Use a garden hose to wash away grass and debris from the deck, being careful not to spray water directly into the engine.
