To fill the water tank, unplug the iron and ensure it is cool. Open the water tank cover, then use a cup to pour water into the tank until it reaches the MAX line. Close the cover securely before use.
Ensure the water tank is filled, and the temperature control is set to a steam setting. If the problem persists, check for clogs in the steam vents and clean them if necessary.
To clean the soleplate, unplug the iron and let it cool. Wipe the surface with a damp cloth. For stubborn stains, use a mixture of baking soda and water. Avoid using abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
To prevent leakage, avoid overfilling the water tank and ensure the iron is used on recommended settings. Always store the iron in an upright position when not in use.
To use the vertical steam function, fill the water tank and set the iron to a high-temperature setting. Hold the iron vertically near the fabric and press the steam button to release steam.
Regularly clean the water tank and soleplate. Use the self-clean function periodically to remove mineral deposits. Always empty the water tank after use.
Fill the water tank with a mixture of equal parts white vinegar and water. Turn the iron to the highest setting and allow it to steam for a few minutes. Rinse the tank with clean water afterward.
Check the power cord and outlet for any issues. Ensure the plug is inserted securely. If the problem persists, contact Sunbeam customer support for further assistance.
It is recommended to use distilled or demineralized water to prevent mineral buildup. However, if using tap water, ensure the iron is regularly descaled.
Unplug the iron and let it cool completely. Empty the water tank, wipe the soleplate, and store the iron in an upright position on a stable surface.
