To turn on the Sunbeam SFH090 heater, plug in the unit, set the desired temperature using the temperature dial, and press the power button. The indicator light will illuminate, confirming the heater is on.
The Sunbeam SFH090 is equipped with an overheat protection system and a tip-over switch, which automatically turns off the heater if it overheats or is accidentally knocked over.
Ensure the heater is unplugged and cool before cleaning. Use a damp cloth to wipe the exterior. Avoid using harsh chemicals or submerging the heater in water. Clean the air intake and outlet grilles with a vacuum cleaner to remove dust.
If the heater is not turning on, check that it is plugged into a working outlet. Ensure the power switch is turned on. If the unit still does not work, inspect the power cord for damage and consider contacting customer service for further assistance.
To adjust the temperature on the Sunbeam SFH090, use the temperature control dial located on the front of the unit. Rotate the dial to increase or decrease the heat output to your preference.
It is not recommended to use an extension cord with the Sunbeam SFH090. If necessary, ensure the extension cord is rated for the same or higher wattage than the heater and is equipped with a grounding plug.
If the heater overheats, it will automatically shut off. Allow the unit to cool down and ensure it is not blocked or covered. Once cooled, press the reset button if applicable, and try to turn it on again.
When storing the Sunbeam SFH090, ensure it is unplugged and cool. Store it in a dry, clean area, preferably in its original box or covered to prevent dust accumulation.
Some noise during operation is normal due to the fan and heating elements. However, if you hear unusual sounds, check for obstructions or debris in the fan. If the noise persists, contact customer service.
The Sunbeam SFH090 is designed to provide efficient heating while consuming less power. To maximize energy efficiency, use the heater in well-insulated spaces and avoid overheating the room.
