To set the temperature on the Sunbeam SCH4051, use the digital controls on the front panel. Press the "Temp" button to cycle through the temperature settings until you reach your desired level.
Check if the heater is plugged in securely and that the power outlet is functioning. Ensure the thermostat is set to a higher temperature than the current room temperature. If the problem persists, consult the user manual or contact customer support.
Always unplug the heater before cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or immersing the heater in water. Allow the unit to dry completely before plugging it back in.
The Sunbeam SCH4051 includes an overheat protection system and a tip-over switch that automatically turns the heater off if it is knocked over.
It is not recommended to use an extension cord with the Sunbeam SCH4051. If necessary, ensure the extension cord is a 14-gauge or larger and is rated for at least 15 amps.
Unplug the heater and allow it to cool for at least 10 minutes. After it has cooled down, plug it back in and turn it on.
Regularly check and clean the air intake and outlet grilles to prevent dust buildup. Inspect the power cord for any signs of damage. Store the heater in a cool, dry place when not in use.
Ensure the heater is placed in a location with good air circulation and away from obstructions. Close doors and windows to prevent heat loss, and use curtains or blinds to insulate against cold.
Some noise is normal due to the fan operation, but if you hear unusual sounds like rattling or grinding, check for loose parts or contact customer support.
Allow the heater to cool completely before storing. Clean it as recommended and store it in a dry, dust-free environment. Avoid placing heavy objects on top of the heater during storage.
