To start the Subaru R1700i Generator, ensure the fuel valve is on, the choke is engaged, and the engine switch is set to 'On'. Pull the starter rope gently until resistance is felt, then pull sharply.
Use SAE 10W-30 oil for the Subaru R1700i Generator to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Change the oil after the first 20 hours of use and every 50 hours thereafter.
Routine maintenance includes checking the oil level, cleaning the air filter, inspecting the spark plug, and ensuring all bolts are tight. Perform these checks every 50 hours of operation or monthly.
If the generator won't start, check the fuel level, ensure the fuel valve is open, and verify that the spark plug is clean and properly connected. Also, make sure the engine switch is in the 'On' position.
To store the generator, turn off the fuel valve and run the generator until it stops. Drain the fuel tank and carburetor, and store it in a dry, cool place. Cover the generator to protect it from dust.
The Subaru R1700i Generator has a rated load capacity of 1,700 watts. Avoid exceeding this limit to prevent damage to the generator and connected devices.
If experiencing low power output, check the load on the generator and reduce if necessary. Ensure the air filter is clean and the generator is on a flat, stable surface. Inspect the spark plug and replace if worn.
Do not use the generator in wet conditions to avoid electrical hazards. Ensure it is placed under a canopy or similar shelter when operating in rain or snow.
Inspect the air filter every 50 hours of operation or monthly. Replace it if it is damaged or excessively dirty to maintain optimal performance.
If the generator is overheating, turn it off and let it cool. Check for obstructions around the air intake and exhaust. Ensure the oil level is adequate and the environment is well-ventilated.
